STACYA session to me is more than simply taking photos of what I see. I want to create beautiful images from what I feel. These first days of life your baby is so tiny, curly, wrinkly and sleepy, and so brand new to the world. I have chosen to specialize in newborn portraiture because I have a passion to capture those special first few days of life. I created Bare Baby Photography with the goal of providing new moms and dads with timeless photos of the most precious times in their life: pregnancy, new life and the months and years following that new life. My editing and posing style are unique and consist of a hand painted style that offers a soft and dreamy feel. I strive to create unique images for every client because to me telling the story of your brand new baby is truly amazing.
From local families to local high profile professional athletes my work has been enjoyed by a wide range of new moms and dads in the Columbus, Ohio area. My unique pregnancy work has also attracted clients visiting from out of town including Cincinnati, Cleveland and even Chicago.
To continue my education in pregnancy photography I have completed several workshops with world renowned celebrity photographer Lola Melani as well as celebrity Russian photographers and other US celebrity photographers.
I have completed 3 private newborn mentorships with world renowned celebrity newborn photographer Brittany Woodall of Baby as Art and Little Bloom Studio. For the past 5 years I have and still do work with her one one. Her work includes images of celebrity babies, photographer of Pink (Alicia Moore) and Carey Hart, Jeff gordan (NASCAR) and Ziggy Marley’s children have been featured in People Magazine, US Magazine, The Ellen Degeneres Show and VH1’s Behind the Music and numerous other awards. I have also completed private mentorships and training with other celebrity photographers.
For the past 14 years I have been photographing Columbus’s Ohio’s tiniest residents. In 2018 I was nominated as the best newborn photographer in the state of Ohio by Bored Panda and have been ranked as a top Columbus Ohio newborn photographer by Expertise since 2016. I have been featured at Pottery Barn Kids and Starbucks and on several websites including Inspire Me Baby.
ABOUT ME
I have been married to my husband for 17 years. We have three children, Mallory, Ryan and Evelyn. We also have two white fluffy cats named Leo and Willow. We lived in New Albany for 13 years and relocated to Granville, Ohio and we absolutely love it here and are still just a hop, skip and jump from New Albany.
