MATERNITY SESSION PLANNING GUIDE
WHAT TO BRING To your upcoming maternity photoshoot
essentials
We recommend bringing a pair of nude string thong underwear and a strapless nude bra - these will be perfect for certain set ups with fabrics. And, if you have any other beautiful garments that you feel gorgeous in, please feel free to bring them. However, if your goal is to capture natural portraits or semi-nude images with fabrics, or if you plan to use our studio clothing, don’t worry about bringing anything else. Just remember to pick a strapless bra and nude string thong for best results.
for your partner
For your partner, we recommend choosing clothing that matches the style of your couples portraits. During your pre session consultation, we’ll discuss what this might entail. If your going for a casual look, some fitted jeans and t-shirts or dress shirts in dark or light tones will do the trick. For a more formal look, opt for a button-down shirt, suit, pants and shoes.
At our full-service studio, we provide everything you need - all you have to do is show up.
You are always welcome to bring outfits as well. AN optional idea for you to consider is bringing boyfriend jeans to your session & a Calvin klein bra.

For a casual yet chic look, try non-maternity boyfriend jeans. They’re comfortable and stylish, and pair well with any top. Some clients like to bring a Calvin Klein bra to go with the jeans

HOW TO PREPARE
Please follow these tips before your session
01. I will send you a message from my hair & makeup team on how to prepare the face and skin for your session.
02. Treat yourself to a mani/pedi a day or two before your session. Go for natural or pastel shades to keep it classy.
03. Keep it natural and avoid any spray tans, excessive bronzers and shimmery products. Trust us, your natural glow is all your need.
04. Avoid tight underwear to prevent any unwanted body marks on the day of your session. Opt for loose clothing to ensure comfort and ease.
05. Avoid wearing perfume or scented body lotions for your session as the scents are hard to get out of the fabrics

WALL DESIGN
After your session is over we will schedule your session reveal. Wall art is a big part of my session reveals, even if you are unsure at this point if there is interest in a wall piece, every client gets to see their images in mock up form to provide an accurate visual during the final reveal process. You are welcome to text me photos of wall space where you may be thinking of hanging up a portrait in advance (614-361-0861).
